Carrying His Presence In The Work Place

God has been stirring my heart for a few weeks now and was sharing with me that I should not hide from my passion but follow it whole heatedly. As I was typing my weekly email to friends and family about what God was working on in my life. I was praying for the words to type, to best describe following our passions in life and not be conformed to what people want us to be.

As I was typing and praying, one of the guys in our Team room (we sit in a open office but it’s divided by glass walls), stood up and asked if we think it’s okay that he starts a business on the side, because he has always had an interest in cars so he would start a shop to fix cars over the weekends. He is a young guy, well a little older than me. So I thought; this is strange that he would ask that question well I was typing out this email.

As soon as I went on by praying the guy next to him also stood up and said; “Yes”, to answer him and told us how he has always had this passion to restore houses, and he is currently restoring his house on weekends. I was amazed about what was happening and as soon as he finished mentioning his passion, the guy sitting next to me stood up and told us how he has always wanted a shop of his own and how he has started to draw up plans for this shop.

I was flabbergasted by what was happening, how this stirring of my passion and praying has manifested itself in the room without a word being spoken. His presence was made aware to me through these stories…God was confirming more then I knew at the time. And as soon as I sent off the email the responses were astounding from friends who were experiencing the same in their walk with God and how they want to follow their passion, some want to find their passion still, and most want to know how to pursue it.

I pray that God will awake in you, your passion that He has for you and for you to start walking in your full purpose in Jesus name. That you will stand firm in His Promises on your life and know without a shadow of a doubt that He is walking this journey with you in Jesus name.Thank you for reading this and may you have a blessed week further!

Our Delf Outreach on 21 June 2014

A Miracle!

On an outreach to Michelsplian the Powerteam prayed for Tina, a lady in a wheelchair. 
Some parts of Tina's right thigh bone that connects with the hip was removed some months ago. However since the team prayed there is bone that weren't there before and she experienced pain in places where it should be dead. The nerves is alive after they prayed! A miracle! Tina is now believing God even more for full recovery than ever before! Praise the Lord!

Zimbabwe Outreach

The recent outreach to beautiful Zimbabwe was one big blessing!

The 9 of us experienced the Love and the Supernatural Power of the Living God touching so many lives.

16 People gave their lives to Jesus as Saviour and masses of people recommitted their lives to Christ.

All of us had the opportunity to pray and minister to people regarding sickness and all their other needs.

We saw how God healed people miraculously through our hands and we saw how God delivered a possessed woman in such a wonderful way that everything in her was changed immediately. She was a new person after that!

The people of Zimbabwe are beautiful, friendly and open hearted. They

received us with so much love and they asked us to come back in September

for a Men’s Conference in a Game Reserve and for a Women’s Conference in the beginning of October. The two weeks in between, we are going to plant

churches in the rural areas where people never before heard about Jesus

Christ. Are you going to join us?

Testimony - After Camp Worship

"One girl who attended this years Camp Worship was scheduled for an operation to have a lump removed from her breast on the Thursday following the worship camp. She then went in to have the operation done and once initial tests were completed the doctor no longer wanted to operate because there simply was no lump!! God healed her! Praise the Lord Jesus!"

Testimony - Healed When I Walked Into Church!!

Sunday evening I had the same miraculous experience that I had a previous time. The entire day before the evening church service I had a severe headache and definitely considered not going to church. This Sunday (and the previous time this happened) I just had to go because I had duties to attend to. But then the unexpected miracle happened. Without even praying about it or expecting Jesus to heal me, the headache was gone only moments after I entered the church building! God is amazing! I truly believe there rests a blessing and anointing in die building and on the family of believers! Thank You Jesus!

Healing Rooms Testimony

Going for a SOZO session at the Powerhouse Healing Rooms was amazing!
Before the end of my session I already felt lighter and more free. But then I had the most touching vision! 
I wanted to give my heart to Father God and as I stretched out my hands to give it to Him, He sat with His hands open to receive it. I then put it into His hands expecting Him to mold it and press it into something more desirable... But then He didn't do that! He just held it! 
Slightly bent over and in awe He stared at it and intensely said: "Wow!!" And He just kept on looking at my heart!
He definitely captured my heart! I have never felt saver!

Outreach to a Rehabilitation Centre

Our outreach to Hesketh King Treatment Centre, a rehabilitation centre, on Sunday 30 March 2014. 

We had a great time spent in worship and after the word was delivered many responded for prayer and commitment to Jesus. We had a wonderful time with these lovely people!

Testimony - Legs and Knees Healed in a Dream

At 23:00 a friend let me know that he was suffering from intense pain. That night I had a dream and in my dream I was praying for this friend. His knees and legs were in great pain and I saw how Satan was attacking him on those areas because he is a runner for God in the spiritual realm. He got completely healed in that dream. The next morning I asked him if he still had any pain. He then confirmed that he had no pain! He is completely healed! Praise Jesus! ‪‎God‬ uses you how he pleases, at any time and He still does miracles - all the time! 

Our Bethel Mission Team Experience

We had an fantastic time with the Bethel Mission Team now visiting Cape Town. After an inspiring sermon, they called out some words of knowledge that God gave them. Instantaneous healing took place; lots of joy was restored in people while we all just enjoyed the Lord’s presence! 

Jesus healed people from all sorts of things - back and necks got healed, a leg grew out, pain left people's bodies and so much more! We are so thankful for their service to the Lord and also how Jesus showed up! We honour them for serving us as a church!

One man whose back was healed immediately, at the end of the night said he's back is so straight now he could even make a rugby comeback! Hallelujah Jesus!

Oh we loved it!!! We are forever changed! 

This boy from our congregation amazed us! During the fire tunnel, that was held at the end of the night, he pulled a chair closer, stood on it and joined in the fun! He helped the team pour out the Holy Spirit on the people! There is just no little Holy Spirit!!

Prophecy for Powerhouse

I see a whirlpool of water, but also as in outer space with Powerhouse warship witch is moving into the circling water. It is as if it wants to draw the ship into the black hole centre. 
I asked Abba what He wants to say to us and I heard: " Do not allow yourselves to be drawn in by being focused inwardly. I use the stormy waters to prepare you and want to propel you to new galaxies. Prepare yourself to be propelled into bigger waters and galaxies where you have not been before. Make yourself ready to be ejected - to become an airship - I give you the wings! Do not be afraid. I do it! I am already there. 
What is the key: prayer, fasting and giving over in worship with your eye fixed on Me - Your Bridegroom that is coming!"

Delft Outreach - 22 February 2014

Delft Outreach - a Home Visit team sharing their experience.

“On Saturday, 22 February 2014, we went on an outreach to Delft. God did amazing things that day - salvation, deliverance and healing came to Delft and His Name is Jesus.

At the first house we visited, the mother of the house had pain as a result of problems with her uterus.  We prayed for her and I literally felt her uterus move inside her body as my hand was on her abdomen.  After we prayed, all pain was gone and she was healed!  A daughter in the same house had pain in her right arm as a result of damaged nerves.  We prayed for her too and after praying, she had no more pain!  Praise Jesus!”

Moving on through the neighbourhood, this team encountered resistance with some people, but when they shared the testimonies of what the Lord has already done that day, the people’s hearts opened up and they could minister and see miracles from God!

“It was such a great day! God just did amazing and different things at every house and I believe that the people were encouraged that Jesus knows them, He didn't forget about them, He is intensely interested in them and that they are important and loved.  I am so happy to have been a part of the outreach - morning well spent!”

Dream Interpretation Team at Delft Outreach

At the Delft Outreach the dream interpretation team saw how, through people’s dreams, God lead them to freedom, restoration and purpose. 

Some of their encounters on the day:

• They helped a woman interpret a dream, finding that God is calling her up to pray for certain things. Through her dream they could also help her interpret what God has called her for in this season!

• A man had an upsetting dream and when shared with the team they could minister to him what his role and position is in his family. They were also then able to direct him to receive further healing under ministry of the Healing Rooms team.

• In ministering to a certain man the team unknowingly answered questions this man has been asking God. He responded by saying that he has been asking God these questions and here God sends a dream team to answer them. He then also shared with them a dream he had three times over.  Again through helping interpret the dream they could help the man find out what it is that God has called him for!

The team could see the Holy Spirit move and was blessed to be used by God to minister to people. It is amazing how a dream could lead people to God!

Powerteam Students Feedback - Delft Outreach

This past weekend, Saturday 22 February, we had our first Delft outreach for the year, organised by Hanli Marais from Intercape and pastor at Powerhouse. We took hands with Zoe Church from Delft. The first year Power Team students had a great time with the children. The second years went on house visits, seeing God touch the hearts of people in their own homes. Glory to Jesus! 

Felicia's Testimony

I am so happy that God opened this door for me. I started working here at Powerhouse Church and things just started getting better and better! God is busy with great things in my household! We never had money and we never had any food. The enemy took everything from us, but when I started working here God started to put things back into place for me! I am so happy to be a part of Powerhouse! I praise the Lord for Pastor Francois and also everyone who prayed for me and supported me through the struggles I endured. There is love in this house! Every day as I am working I encounter the love of the Powerhouse people. Pastor Francois displayed to me amazing Fatherly love, real love! I am thankful for God's work!
